Still having so much fun.
The writing was harder than I imagined needs more practice. For the fancy fluffy yarn I used the basic couching stitch as I wanted to keep its fluffiness.
I have used several of the previous stitches for couching down different yarns and string.

The top piece is just a mixture of threads that I have found in my mothers sewing box. I have unravelled a fare amount but this was just a bit to far gone. I have then couched using detached chain stitch.

I used a piece of wool and some gold thread not sure which is best to lay the tread on top or close together, the u needs to be neater. The yellow is an off cut of sponge matting. For a first attempt I am happy with it
